My girlfriend and I stayed here for about two weeks because we were doing a volunteering program. That means we were there long enough to give an accurate opinion of the place. This hostel is one of the best value options we have stayed at. It is a very affordable place, so you can be sure you will get the best out of your money. What I appreciated very much is the fact that it is a family-run hostel.

Casa Jardin is located in the historical center of San Cristobal de las Casas. The building was built in XIX-XX century, neoclassic style which, declared as a Historical Monument in the city with beautiful gardens to rest and relax.
Accommodation is in a choice of private rooms with shared bathrooms and private bathroom and 1 dormitories. Guests have full use of the kitchen, free breakfast with coffe and tea, free purified water, 24 hr hot water as well as Internet access. We also have a beautiful communal garden, a roof top patio, and a wonderful library.

What I appreciated very much is the fact that it is a family-run hostel. Therefore, the environment is very friendly, they help you with questions you have and make you feel like at home. The family cares about the well-being of its guests. We would definitely come back to this place!!

Nuestro Hostel esta situado en un Monumento Historico en un edificio de estilo neoclasico con un Jardin en el centro de la casa y coronado por una hermosa fuente y rodeado de Arcos.
Ofrecemos 9 habitaciones y un dormitorio para 6 personas
Si tu eres un backpacker Joven, o una pareja joven seras bienvenido, Tambien contamos con servicios de tours a los lugares mas reconocidos en chiapas como son Palenque, Agua azul, misol-ha, lagos de Montebello, Cascada chiflon, San Juan Chamula, Zinacantan, y por supuesto el Cañon del Sumidero. Te invitamos a nuestra casa no te arrepentiras.
En el precio te incluye un Taxi Gratis de la Estacion a la casa (o descuento en la primera noche si vienes a pie de la estacion), Internet wi-fi, desayuno con cafe y te, Agua caliente, uso de la cocina, Cuando Haces Chek out podemos guardar tu equipaje unas horas sin costo, Libros de intercambio, areas para conocer personas, Jardin para tomar el sol, musica, y sobretodo es un lugar seguro y limpio atendido por sus dueños.

Directions
We are located pretty close to the 'zocalo' markets, museums churches, and fun places to visit. From the bus station, the way to going in Casa Jardin is very simple to find out. You have 2 options walking 10-15 minutes or taking a taxi. If you walk from the bus station, take Avenida Insurgentes and then take calle Dr Jose Felipe Flores to the right and here we are.
