This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We loved our stay here - from the friendly welcome from Chello, to the great rooms in jungle huts with amazingly thick mattresses, to the awesome breakfasts. It was a great place to meet people. The only downside was the proximity to the highway, but after the first night we got used to it. Highly recommended.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I stayed here for 5 nights in August and it was the perfect accommodation for me. The cabanas are well built and cool at night. I didn't get one mosquito bite inside the cabana, which is rare for August. The showers and bathrooms are clean and are kept clean throughout the day by the staff. "The staff" is a small family, a mother and her two sons, who are some of the best people I've met in Mexico, and I spent two months traveling the country. They are helpful with tips, care about you if you get ill or too sun-burned, and just genuine, warm people who are great at running this small business. The bikes are great! You will use them every day...unless you have a car, which one guest did and they used it to get to cenotes and other destinations, but it is not necessary, you can get everywhere on a bike and it adds to ones connection to Tulum... experiencing Tulum on a bicycle helps you understand the town more.

Lastly, the breakfast is two courses, a fruit course, and a hardier sandwich/quiche/egg dish that changes everyday. Home made juice smoothy and your choice of refillable coffee and tea. With Tulum getting a bit more expensive this breakfast is a BIG deal! You eat this and you head to the beach or cenote for a while and then you don't need lunch until late afternoon, just before your nap.

I loved my stay here and will come back some day.

Thanks Chelo, Joaquin and Daniel!

I really felt at home here, breakfast was a treat to wake up too and having a bike made it super easy getting to the beach, town, and some near by Cenotes. The only problem I found was it is pretty loud because you right on the highway but ear plugs came in very handy and after that I had no issues. The family is really wonderful and helpful in pointing out near by attractions and I would not hesitate staying there again.
