About Peking International Youth Hostel

We are located in the heart of Beijing's historic core- 5 minutes walk to the Forbidden City, the spectacular Tiananmen Square, and the famous Wangfujing shopping district to name a few.

The hostel has carefully preserved the originally traditional Si-He style courtyard house, and is nestled in the designated historic landmark Hu-Tong neighborhood preserved and protected by the Beijing government.

Staying with us is a good start for exploring this ancient city. No matter your heart is with the old imperial court or ordinary people living in the ally ways, you will find your own experience from all walks of life in this fascinating city during your stay. You are assured to have a good time with us!

Our interior is carefully designed according to the traditional style of the building along with all modern amenities such as luxury room, twin bed, queen bed, dormitory, air-conditioning, round-the-clock hot water, free wireless internet access, Chinese and western breakfast, bar, reading corner, kiosk, locker, IP phone, laundry facility, luggage storage, travel information.

From airport: Take airport shuttle bus to Xi Dan, then take a cab (RMB 15) to hostel or take a airport express train (RMB 25)get off at Dong Zhi Men subway station and then take a cab to our hostel.Also we have airport pick up service, if you want reserve, please send E-mail for us, told us your flight information.

Beijing Rail Station: Take bus No.10 to Tian'anmen East, walk 15 minutes to hostel or take a cab (RMB 20).

Beijing West Rail Station: Take a cab (RMB30) or bus 52 or 802,get off at the Tian an men east.

Underground: Take line 1, alight at Tian'anmen East, come out from "Exit B"

Great place to stay, smack in the middle of Beijing. Within walking distance of a number of sites including the Forbidden City and with easy access to the Subway.
Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were ok and decent value considering the central location. A good, if limited range of food available. I would definately recommend this place to friends.

From beijing international airport :
--Take a taxi directly (around 100RMB)
--Take airport express train (25RMB), and then take a taxi to our hostel (the whole way take about 1hours)
--Take a shuttle bus (16RMB), and then take a taxi (20RMB) or bus No 1,52,802 get off Tian'an men east station. (whole way take about 1.5hours)
From Beijing main railway station :
--Take the taxi is the best way, also the eaiest way to the hostel (around 20RMB)
--Take a bus No.1 ,20 or 37 get off Tian'an men east
Beijing west station:
--Take a taxi (around 35RMB)
--Take a bus No 52 ,802 get off Tian'an men east station.
Subway:
The nearest subway station's name is Tian'an men east (line 1天安门东) come out from Exit B ,and then walking along from Nan chi zi street (南池子大街)to Beichi zi street (北池子大街) around 15 minutes to our hostel .

Notice: If you have any problems or get lost, please phone us, we can told the driver how to get to the hostel.
