Generally a very nice apartment with all the amenities required. The highlight of the apartment though is the enthusiasm and knowledge of the host, who even prepared an itinerary of places to visit, places to eat and drink and highlighted some of the pitfalls. We had a great time and would consider booking another apartment with the same owner again.

About Alcântara Apartment
Alcântara means bridge in Arab. So this is the bridge neighbourhood, and in fact the famous 25th April bridge is situated here!
Located just 10 minutes from the historical city centre, this part of the city offers the best places to go out during the night. You have the docks under the bridge with many bars, restaurants and discos like the very famous disco "The Kremlin "and "The Kapital". This is a great place for nightlife!
You can profit the magnificent view of the bridge and the sunset. Nearby you have the wonderful neighbourhood of Belem very close to Alcântara that you can even reach there walking, near the river!

Directions
This small apartment is located in a very modest, typical Portuguese street with very typical Portuguese people with taverns and very quite picturesque people! Prepare yourself!
The apartment is in the 4th floor and it doesn't have elevator! So
don't worry with the Gym these days!
We will welcome you with a bottle of "vinho Verde" and snacks and will have some Portuguese typical music CDs in the apartment so you can enjoy even more your Portuguese experience!
