Felinarul hostel is the best rated hostel in town. Owned and run by an Irish/Romanian couple, the hostel is friendly and welcoming. The owners have learned from their travels and from their friend's travels, what makes a good hostel. They will share their favorite haunts with you, and steer you away from the tourist traps. Hang out in the common room decorated with hand painted Transylvanian furniture, read books from the library or play chess in the cute chill out zone, enjoy wi-fi throughout the hostel. Drink a glass of wine or a beer in the private courtyard. Enjoy a chat with the owners and other guests over a free organic breakfast and coffee in the mornings. Hostel Felinarul is an intimate hostel with only 14 beds. Two dorms have only six beds each and there is private room for two. The building is a small cottage located on a quiet street, yet only a stones throw away (two minutes on foot) from the main square and heart of the old town with its bars, cafes and restaurants. It is also only a two minute walk from the train station; a perfect location really!
