As it says in the name of the pension - this one is good for surfers, as it is very close to surfers' beach. But for other non-surfers travellers the location is rather inconvenient, it's very far from the main beach and other tourist attractions, pretty far from bar scene too.
The room was clean and comfortable, but it's also expensive pension, so i guess it's a pension for rich surfers.

Pension Atixiki Surf was just 2 mins walk from the Zurriola beach, so it was very easy to get to the beach quickly as well as head back for a quick shower before going out at night. It was a little noisy in the room that we were at, because we were next to a little lane and slightly lower than ground level for that street so the footsteps were quite loud.
The owner of the place was very friendly and a great help as my friend and I were checking in at different times. The room was very clean although it always felt a little damp on the floor. The little kitchenette was basic, but enough for what you need if you need a toaster or a microwave to heat up your food. Overall, a great place to stay if you want to be near the beach, and also walkable to the Old Town in San Sebastian in about 10-15mins. There is also a small little bistro and a tapas place nearby where we had breakfast and lunch at, and was pretty good!

The Location is great: max 5 min from Zuriola beach and the owners are really nice. They gave us many information to visit the city, the places to be,... It's a very good B&B. We'll come back with pleasure.

Owners were very helpful, rooms were clean and new. Location was excellent for surf beach access with a Bar and shop just next door. Just a 5 min walk along the beach to the old town. Perfect for couples that want their own room and bathroom.
