About Rut & Ragnars Hostel
Rut & Ragnars is an independent hostel where you don’t have to be a member to get a good price. We opened 2008 and are centrally located, near the cozy Mollevangen, within walking distance to most of Malmo. Rut & Ragnars is a small and personal place owned by two young and wonderful people! :)
We have both private rooms and a dorm.
The dorm is a large room with 20 beds, divided into booths with 2 or 4 beds in each booth. The booths all have three walls and an entrance that you can close with a curtain.
The private rooms have 4 (6) beds that you can rent per bed, if you are 3 people or more. You can have up to 6 beds in one room. Each bed is 200 kr /night /person.
You can bring your own bed sheets or rent from us for 50 kr.
We kindly ask you to check in before 8 p.m. but if you can’t, please send us an e-mail BEFORE you make your booking, to make arrangements for a late check-in.

The house in which Rut&Ragnars is located in, seems a bit dodgy at first sight. It is not exactly a nice building, but it is in good walking distance of central Malmö. The room was good size, although it could have been cleaner. Just like about anything in the hostel: the kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped but some things in the kitchen were sticky and towels and toothpaste left in the shower booth and sink respectively were still not cleaned away until late next day. It was okay for one night, but I don't think I would stay there again for more than 2 nights.
This hostel is not in the center - but its comfortable and friendly and the couple who own it are very nice.
Good atmosphere and social place.
I would gladly stay there again.
