I was mean to stay 4 nights and ended up staying a week. I loved this place and was by far the best place I stayed in China. They picked me up from the airport no hassle, the single room I stayed in was lovely and clean. The shower was really great, hot with good pressure.

Staff are honest, well trained and competent, Sim and Maki are themselves available most of the day.

I was mean to stay 4 nights and ended up staying a week. I loved this place and was by far the best place I stayed in China. They picked me up from the airport no hassle, the single room I stayed in was lovely and clean. The shower was really great, hot with good pressure. The bed was really comfy! Wifi connection in the rooms and bar was really good.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful! Especially the bar staff. It's an excellent place to meet other travellers as the bar area is really friendly and fun. Had my birthday whilst there and ended up an excellent night! Try the Long Island Ice Tea! Leathal! Ate most nights in the bar and the food was great.
Location wise it's perfect as just moments from most main bus routes but set back slightly so not right in the bustling area. They have masses of DvDs, books and games room.
I would definitely recommend you stay no where other than Sims it's such a cool place and I really enjoyed my time there. If I find myself back in Chengdu I would definitely stay again!

A fantastic place to stay - great atmosphere, really helpful and friendly staff, opportunities to organise onward travel and local tours, and it really is a cosy place (with heating in the winter too!). Highly recommend sim's cosy if you're going to chengdu.

Overall it had a very positive experience. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hostel is well priced. The food at the restaurant is good as well as reasonably priced. We went on a panda tour and were very satisfied. Would recommend this hostel.
