We stayed at Tatum Mansion for 3 nights. It has the friendliest staff and the owner Mr. Philip is such a friendly and helpful person. He gave us some briefing about Patong and the area where Tatum Mansion is located. I don't know if it is normal in Patong, but I found the murky tap water was a little bit distracting, although there's a notice saying that the water is not safe to drink.

About Tatum Mansion

Tatum Mansion offers 5 star personal service with beautiful clean rooms. All rooms were recently refurbished and now offer a more homely feel.

We are located on a quiet Soi approximately 100 meters from the beach, centrally located in Patong Beach and surrounded by many local restuarants, great shopping and entertainment spots. Bangla Road is a 10 minute stoll. Discretion is always assured. We are proud to be listed and featured in the Lonely Plant travel guide.

Tatum Mansion has 3 room categories all offering:-

Air conditioned rooms with either a king, queen or twin beds, daily maid service, en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers, cable TV with selection of foreign language channels, sports and film, refrigerators and mini bar and DVD/CD players. Hair dryers and irons available upon request.

Standard rooms are queen bed only, very quiet with no view or are windowless.

Superior rooms are either queen or twin beds and our most popular. Connecting rooms avaiable.

Deluxe rooms are either king or twin beds and some have a balcony or a view of the Andaman Sea. Some deluxe rooms can accommodate a 3rd person. Connecting rooms available.

Terms & Conditions :

-Rates are net per room per night

-Rates are for single or double occupancy

-Rates are for room only

-Rates are inclusive of local and federal tax (VAT)

-Triple supplement/extra bed (deluxe rooms only) – 300baht per night

-All confirmed bookings must be guaranteed with a Visa or MasterCard credit card

Cancellation Policy :

- Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged a 1 night cancellation fee for

low and high season only

- No shows will be charged at 50% of the entire stay or 1 night whichever is greater during

the low and high season

- Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival during the peak season (15 Dec – 31 Jan

inclusive) will be charged a 3 night cancellation fee or 50% of the entire stay, whichever

is greater

- No shows during the peak season (15 Dec – 31 Jan inclusive) will be charged the full stay amount

We stayed at Tatum Mansion for 3 nights. It has the friendliest staff and the owner Mr. Philip is such a friendly and helpful person. He gave us some briefing about Patong and the area where Tatum Mansion is located. I don't know if it is normal in Patong, but I found the murky tap water was a little bit distracting, although there's a notice saying that the water is not safe to drink. Guests should be well-notified with the complimentary drinks because I was shown the price when I asked for one. Tatum Mansion is surrounded with massage parlors and there no way you can avoid the girls whenever you go down to the beach. And they can be pushy at times and a little bit distracting that you might wish you had stayed at some other part of the town. But other than those mentioned, I'd definitely recommend staying at Tatum Mansion.

Directions

Patong Beach is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from Phuket International airport. Guests can take the mini bus from the airport to patong at a cost of approx 150baht o/w. A metered taxi costs around 450 - 500baht.
From Phuket Town, there is a bus service to Patong for 25 baht. Guests should disembark outside the Holiday Inn on the beach road and then we are less than a 5 minute walk away.
