You have to give a big deposit when you arrive... And they hold your money in your credit card, then you have to pay when you leave. That felt a bit unsafe...
Extreamly hot water in the showers. Were no cold water at all..
wished the staff could tell us a bit more information about the place. When we asked questions we got a telehone number that we had to call and find out ourselves..
The taxis outside the hotel are more expensive than normal taxis. Get a normal taxi!!!
They forgot to clean our room one day..
But overall pretty much satisfied with the hotel. Big studio appartment, and you got everything you need for cooking.
There was nothing that I could say was wrong with the accomodation itself. The location was close enough to the blue/red route bus stop so that I could walk there. My key disappointment was that I had to pay a hefty deposit to cover so call breakages. I had enough cash to pay my two nights accomodation in full but they wanted a further 260durham deposit. Of course, they give it back, but it caused a hassle for me at the time.
Overall very happy. The only thing not is the water to shower. You had a choice between boiling hot and cooking hot water coming out of the shower. There was no cold water. According to the maintenance it was because outside was hot 45 degrees. They could at least have a cooling system.
