Very friendly place. This is what a youth hostel SHOULD be like!

Not perfect but you don't expect that from a youth hostel. All the main things were good...

Location: 5-10 mins walk to the tram into the main area of New Orleans which took another 5-10 mins and only costs $1.25. 5-10 mins walk to Wal-Mart for food/drink supplies.

Facilities: Free Wi-Fi and free access to an internet PC. Free pancakes for brekkie, free shuttle to/from train/bus station (cheers!). Plenty of bathrooms with good showers, pool table, common room with TV to chill out in, full kitchen etc etc.

Service: Staff were accommodating, friendly, chilled out, helpful, informative and NICE... just what you need.

Overall a fantastic place to stay for not very much money - would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.

We are 18 minute walk to downtown city center, and 22 minutes walk to the famous 'French Quarter ' and Bourbon Street. If you drive here , we have free parking and you can easily leave your car here while walking. We are just a few minutes from the Convention Center.
