The room we've booked was nice but the AC was noisy and not cool at all. We asked to switch the room and the staff gave as a better room, bigger with extra bed. The next day we got other room and the AC was good. The front desk was really helpful to get us the transportation. Too bad the Internet connection is only available at the lobby so we have to go there to get the connection. Will be great if wifi is reachable to the rooms. The food was a bit expensive. Overall, the room was good and affordable, the location is great and the staffs are friendly.

Me Mates is the place to stay when you visit Phnom Penh. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is centralised and easy to get around. The hotel room my hubby and I stayed in was clean and hooked up with cable tv. Definitely value for money
Facilities offered are pool table, free wifi, etc.Just a tip; make sure you always ask for a receipt (as proof) when you make payments, to avoid cases of cheating by outsiders who do not work in the hotel (a Caucasian couple we met faced this during our stay at Me Mates. thankfully hubby and i did not have any problem with this).

Great hotel, great location, easy access to the main street and tourist attraction. The staff is absolutely helpfull and ready to give you any kind of guidance at anytime. Tuk2 is always waiting in front of the hotel so you don't need to worry if you plan to go around the city. Overall, really nice place to stay and value for your money !

Great location, spotless rooms, and great service! Able to make seamless on-going travel plans with everything taken care of at the front desk.
I travel to P-Penh a few times per year and will definitely use Me Mates in the future.

great place to stay staff very friendly and helpfull clean good food could not find fault in this hostel but drink prices could be a little cheaper as out side are half the price. would recomend and stay again.

Room was clean and large in size. No window meant it was always dark and you never knew what time it was. Bathroom clean and shower very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but sometimes were too casual and we're really just hanging out together and weren't that quick to serve customers. Food/drink in hostel lobby was expensive and staff never had correct change and would make you feel bad about not paying with correct money. The internet was painfully slow and they expected you to pay to use it.
Overall it was good for what you pay for and if your young and like to party you will definitely fit in here.

we stayed for 3 nights there but got a windowless room & the electricity kept going on and off so made our stay quite difficult.
Location was ok, ten minute walk from main spots but definitely wouldn't walk it alone.
Supposed to stay 4 nights but not much to do in phnom penh so asked if we could leave earlier and there was no problem or charge.
Definitely for someone on a low budget & a hard back as the beds were rock hard!!
