The owner and staff were very helpful. Good, big breakfast. It is located outside of the city, but near an RER station It took about 45-60 minutes with wait times to get to downtown. The neighborhood looked questionable at first, but it was fine. Newly remodeled and very interesting decor.

notre dame cathedral and latin quarter...10 min, direct ride.
eiffel tower...15min direct ride.
versailles castle...30min direct ride.
porte maillot (where you arrive with the beauvais s airport shuttle).25 min direct ride.
this rer c line offers you a great conection with the metro lines (line 14) whithin 3 min from the b&b.

ONCE YOU R ON THE PLATFORM, IN DIRECTION 'PONT DE RUNGIS' OR 'MASSY PALAISEAU'. MAKE SURE TO TAKE A 'MONA' OR A' ROMI' TRAIN (CHECK ON THE PLATFORMS TV S SCREAN S ).
THE OTHER TRAINS DO NOT STOP AT VITRY S STATION.
when arrive at VITRY SUR SEINE stop take the main exit.look on the right hand side, you ll see two red houses. Emile Zola street begins there. we are at number 9.
the b&b is less than one minute walking.
