Hotel Patel Continental, New Delhi, India

I stayed there for 4-5 days. The room that was provided me was worse. There was water logging in the bathroom. After complaining, they shifted me to another room after 2 days. Second room was better than first one. Hotel staff would push you to for a particular travel agent for site-seeing and tour. No hot water unless you request them (which we were not doing). I would not suggest you to come there for leisure. If you want somewhere to stay and go for some work, it is fine.

The hotel is quite ok, not incredible but not bad. The rooms don't look anything like the photos on the webpage, they are more indian style than that. But the beds are comfortable, the toilet works, and the location (3 min from metro) is great. Be aware that no Delhi taxidriver finds the hotel, although they claim they do, and might drop you off somewhere else. The service is good, but very slow, and the staff is very helpful. Security is good, I slept very well. There are two large drawbacks though: first, my travellerspoint reservation did not work (but there were rooms free, so it was ok). Obviously Patel Continental and Travellerspoint don't communicate. Secondly, the food is semigood and I have been down since, not being able to keep anything inside.

All in all, the hotel is good, the food is bad. Nonetheless, I would stay there again and can recommend it.
