We only accept one booking at any one time, with a maximum of 4 in any booking. Guests have their own bathroom.

Pat a friendly sheep or pony.Watch our house cows being milked or have a go milking them yourself . An ideal stop off before or after a trip to Cape Reinga or your trip to Waipoua Forest to see the giant Kauri tree Tane Mahuta. We offer $30.00 home cooked meals by prior arrangement. We have house pets.

Waitawa Farm is situated in Broadwood,Hokianga, Northland, We are located only 40 minutes south west of Kaitaia, in between Kaitaia and the Hokianga Harbour area of Kohukohu. A great stop off point between Cape Reinga and Waipoua Forrest

We are on the Twin Coast Discovery route between Ahipara/Kaitaia (40 minutes) and Kohukohu,(30 minutes) free maps of Northland available at all Information centres that cover the Twin Coast Discovery Route in the north Island. If you are arriving from the west coast and are taking the ferry over from Rawene, the last ferry leaves Rawene at 7.30pm, as you drive through Broadwood, we are the first road on your right- If you are approaching from Ahipara or Kaitaia, if you reach Broadwood village then you have missed the turnoff on the left-go back and take the first road on your right. We can email you further directions how to reach us from auckland if you request them.
