The Weasku Inn, built as a fishing lodge on the banks of the Rogue River in 1924, offers guests a peek at life in an earlier era of the Pacific Northwest. As a vacation retreat to such legendary personalities as Clark Gable, Carol Lombard, Bing Crosby and Walt Disney, the walls of the lodge seem to still whisper age old fishing tales from visitors past.
The lodge, featuring the original, massive river-rock fireplace great room, and river cabins have been painstakingly renovated to capture the flavor of the past while providing amenities that have been touted by Travel & Leisure as 'One of the Country's Top 25 Greatest Inns' and been named by Country Living as 'Inn of the Month.'
The Weasku Inn offers four rooms and one suite in the main, historic lodge as well as 12 River Cabins, some with Whirlpool Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces and decks overlooking the Rogue River.
Minutes from downtown Grants Pass, the Weasku Inn is a short drive from antique shops and some of the region's finest dining. Sitting along the bank of the famous Rogue River, enjoy fishing, rafting and jet boat rides, all minutes from your room. For day trips, Crater Lake National Park and the Oregon Caves National Monument are less than two hours away. The world renowned Shakespeare Festival is less than 40 minutes away through the Applegate Wine Country, considered by many to be the next Napa Valley.
With so much to do, one night may not be enough!
