Very basic and cheap, but you get what you pay for. The bed and pillow came with someone else's hair on it. The hair was on the inside of the pillowcase too, so it's likely a case of a bad laundry machine rather than them not washing the sheets. The room was very small and came with an electric heater that was very effective at keeping the room warm. The bathroom was down the hall (we stayed in a room with a shared bathroom) and smelled pleasantly of cedar. Our room came with a sink with two temperatures - cold and really cold, and was otherwise barely furnished. They made a half-hearted attempt at decor. That said, the area is nearby the subway station and a lot of bars and restaurants, but don't expect too much from the rooms.

This is a very basic hotel and a conversion from a house that has not been done very well. The decor is pretty poor. However, it was quite cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Generally very good, nioce 'quirky' little 'boutique' type hotel. Staff were very helpful & place was overall pretty good, one or two small niggles, but for the price it was absoultely excellent!

The hotel is in a great location. There is a continental breakfast included and most of the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definately recommend this hotel to people on a budget and who appreciate value for money (as Montreal and Quebec City hotels are rather expensive). Thanks
