After having visited Vienna Austria for 1 week we decided (3 pers.) to book this apartment on our return trip to the Netherlands.
A very well maintained modern apartment about 15 min. walking from Prague City Centre. Modern Bathroom and kitchen and YES..... a PC with internet.
Friendly people, great value for money.
We'll definately visit Prague again for a longer period and book this apartment if possible.
P.s. My GF normally makes no mistakes.... more

About Prague Comfort Apartment
Charming one bedroom apartment located very close to the city centre with 24/7 Internet (+ computer), one bedroom with queen-size bed, a living space with kitchen and double sofabed and a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen utensils, microwave, electric hotplate, toaster, jug, fridge/freezer, satellite TV, stereo/CD player and washing machine. The apartment is situated in the area known as Zizkov, famous for its pubs, restaurants and interesting nightlife and is only a 15 minute walk to Old Town Square and all major tourist areas. If you prefer public transport, a tram stop is located close-by which will take you to all major tourist areas (3 tram stops) and the main railway station, Hlavni nadrazi (1 tram stop).

This time she forgot to empty all drawers and left a couple of her shirts and a pair of pants in the apartment.
Peter, Property Manager of the Apartment sent the clothing free of charge to the NL.We'll be back!

Directions
From Airport to Apartment
TAXI - A taxi will cost you around CZK 650 (approx. Euro 25) and take about 25 mins. It is the easier method. Details of how to take the public transport are set out below:
BUS, TRAIN, TRAM - Public transport to the apartment from the airport will cost you CZK 26 (just under Euro 1) and take about 45 mins. You would need to take a bus, train and then tram (great way to experience Prague's public transport!) - you would firstly need to buy a bus/train/tram ticket CZK 26 ('yizdenky - dvardset shest' in phonetic Czech) from the newsagency at the airport - the airport bus stop is about 15 metres in front of you when you exit the airport (not the little minbuses you see when you first walk out).
Take bus No. 119 (Centrum) to the last stop - 'Dejvicka' metro station (about 20 min bus ride with all the stops). Go downstairs to the metro and take the train to the stop 'Flora' (about 10 min trip). When you get out at Flora station you will then need to take tram No. 5 three stops to Husinecka (about 5 min ride) - as you walk out of Flora metro and see the tram stop in front of you, the direction you need to take the tram is 'to your right'). You get off the tram at Husinecka stop. You can then follow the directions to the apartment on the map attached below (only a 2 min walk from tram stop to apartment).
From Holesovice Railway Station to Apartment
Taxi
I would recommend not using the taxis waiting outside the station as they will overcharge you. You are better off purchasing something from the cafeteria to get some coins to call a taxi from the public phonebooth. This way you will ride in one of the registered taxi companies. The taxi fare should be no more than CZK 250. The numbers for the registered taxi companies are:

Public Transport
You would need to purchase a ticket (jizdenky) for 26 Kc (Czech Crown) at the Tabak (newsagents) at Holesovice station. This ticket will cover your train and tram fares.
Take the train three stops to Hlavni nadrazi train stop (you need to punch your ticket in the orange machine as you walk down to the platform to validate it). When you come out of Hlavni nadrazi station start walking to your right, through the park (2 mins walk), and you will come to the tram stop. Take the tram heading in the direction 'to your right' one tramstop and get off at Husinecka tramstop. You can then follow the directions from the attached map to get to the apartment (only a short 3 min walk).
