A short train ride from Nara city Yougendo is a very special oasis off the beaten path at Oji town right between Osaka and Nara and right on the train line bound for Koyasan.

We can assure you we are no hostel or backpackers. Prepare to be part of something special when you stay. A unique concept with a very reasonable price tag.

NOTE: Please note we require three days before the day you arrive to cancel or alter your booking.

We are a small business with a good reputation, we hope you will enjoy your stay, we always do our best.

Our cancellation policy permits cancellation of your reservation up to three days before your day of arrival without any charges. If you make a cancellation with less than three days notice we will charge you for one nights stay.

As we only have 4 rooms 'No Show' reservations and cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the entire reserved stay, we hope you understand. In cases of unfortunate circumstance i.e illness accident, natural disaster or other we reserve the right to enforce our cancellation policy.

Refunds for late arrivals or early departures will not be given. Charges made to credit cards are subject to a 5% processing fee.
