Hi there ......my stay at Noosa was great ...Chillout was a splendid spot...great access to all the amenities around the area !Had a car but really didn't need it as all shops and activities were within easy walking distance of it.
When I stayed with my daughter and her 18 month old baby we hardly saw another fellow traveller. All amenities were great, kitchen and lounge area which led onto the open balcony...a great location for early morning breakfast or evening respite. The bedroom was cleanand spacious with aircon which was a necessity after the heat of the day. Chillout is a place I would recommend to all friends and family...... It felt like a home from home and was cheerfully attended by Nick who made sure all was in working order.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, would recommend this to anyone. Great value for money. Friendly and hospitable. Clean and airy. The communal areas in particular were wonderful. erfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of mainstream hostels.

Everything looks squeaky clean, the overall feeling is that of a college dorm: just around 12 people, a nice housy kitchen and living room. A bit far out of town, but I was happy to get some peace and quiet and still have nice talks to the fellow inhabitants. So good I booked another extra 3 days

"Feels like home"
Cleaned daily and nicely decorated with comfortable beds, a large kitchen/dining area, a balcony that looks over a lake and immaculate bathrooms, Chillout Noosa lives up to its name.

Attracting the more "serious" traveler ( only suited to party animal travelers if they're looking to relax and catch up on sleep) I spent many evenings sat in the lounge with the other guests chatting, eating and watching a dvd or two (provided along with a small but interesting book collection and new and old magazines)

Although this hostel doesn't have internet or a phone line it has an agreement with the hostel five minutes walk away that you can use their pay phone and internet ($4 phr) you also have unlimited use of their complimentary shuttle bus to the transit centre (two minutes from the beach)

Nick the owner pops in daily to clean, tidy and welcome new arrivals he has picked up from the bus station. Nick is yet another selling point to this hostel, never too busy to have a chat and always ready to answer questions and help anyway he can.

The only downside to this hostel is that you can't pick it up and take it home to live in.

(OH and when you leave you are encouraged to leave any unwanted food on the free food shelves! which can result in free alcohol woo) x
