THE BEST HOSTEL BY FAR THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!!! fELT LIKE HOME STRAIGHT AWAY AND MOST DEFINATELY AM COMING BACK HERE WE ENJOYED OURSELVES THAT MUCH!!! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING AND THE PLACE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE!!! i THINK THIS PLACE HAS REALLY SET AN EXTREMLY HIGH STANDARD AND SO FAR HAVE NOT STAYED ANY WHERE THAT COME REMOTELY CLOSE!!! tHEY SHOULD DEFINATELY BE COMMENDED ON THEIR AMAZING EFFORT!!!

Too many beds in the dorm made it hard to move around, and they didn't clean it very well. Still, good value.

Great clean new building. Day staff are very friendly and helpful.
The bathrooms were a bit mangy in the morning. The womens shower had some chicks hair blocking the drain hole for 2 days then it was chucked on the bathroom floor. No toilet paper in the bathroom in the morning which is dearly needed after eating a curry the night before. BYO toilet roll.
Bed was compfy and as I said real clean cause its brand new.

Conditions
1) There are no en-suites or private attached bathrooms available in Footprints and all facilities are shared.
2) Additional single beds are available at SGD$20 per bed for private Family and Double Rooms.
3) Payment: Cash payment only in hostel. A deposit of SGD$20 is to be placed upon check-in.
4) Credit cards: Not accepted but we are in the process of making it happen.
5) Cancellation policy: Booking in advance is advisable. 72 hours notice is required for cancellation, postponement or any special requests you may have.

Directions
Upon arrival at CHANGI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
- Get a copy of 'The Official Map of Singapore' and other brochures that interest you
- Footprints Backpacker Hostel is located on grid 6E, at 25A Perak Road.
- Check out the Terminal you arrive in: Terminal 1, 2, 3 or budget terminal
You may make your way to Footprints by MRT, bus or taxi.
By MRT:
-If you arrive at Changi Airport, please proceed to the MRT Station via Terminal 2 or 3.
-Purchase an *a stored value EZ-link card OR one journey card or Tourist Pass** from the MRT station control.
-Take the MRT to Little India station. The journey is about 30 minutes. Afterwhich, Footprints is just 5 to 10 minutes away on foot. The Singapore Map you picked up at the airport would come in handy now.
-The MRT fare is less than S$3 (inclusive of the refundable deposit of S$1 deposit)
*You may purchase the EZ-link card if you are staying in Singapore for 3 days or more. It's S$15. You can use it on the MRT or buses. Any unused balance will be refunded at any of the MRT stations.
** The Tourist Pass offers unlimited rides on the MRT, LRT and basic bus services at just SGD 8 per day. It comes with a one-day, two-day or three-day pass with a refundable S$10 deposit (the pass must be returned within five days). The pass also comes bundled with merchant offers, providing you with more benefits during your stay in Singapore. You can purchase it at the Changi Airport, Orchard, Chinatown, City Hall, Raffles Place, Ang Mo Kio, HarbourFront and Bugis MRT stations as well as at selected Singapore Visitors Centres.
By Taxi:
-The taxi stand is located just outside the Arrival Hall of the airport.
-The taxi fare is about S$20 (before midnight) and about S$30 (after midnight).
-Certain surcharges might apply, for example like airport surcharge, Public Holiday surcharge etc, which can cost from S$4 to S$10.
-The journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

Road directions to Footprints from Changi International Airport:
-Head towards the city on the ECP (East Coast Parkway)
-Exit at Rochor Road and head towards Rochor Canal Road.
-U-Turn across the canal into Sungei Road.
-Keep LEFT, turn LEFT into Perak Road.
-Welcome to the Footprints!
By Bus:
-SBS bus no.36 runs between Orchard Road and Singapore Changi Airport. The public bus stations are located in Terminal 1 at Basement 2, and in Terminal 2 at Basement Level.
-The bus fare ranges from S$0.80 to S$1.70.
-There is no direct bus to footprints hostel. Hence, the MRT is really a much better option. Fast, convenient and comfortable!
