This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were some of the nicest people and the location was great. It's a little bit far from the attractions of the city, but close enough to the bus station that it doesn't suffer.

The hotel Der Salzburger Hof and Hotel-Annex" is a rather traditional ruled hotel in Salzburg.
The Hotel is located next to the railway station and is also just a few minutes walking distance to some of the most famous sight-seeing attractions of Salzburg like e.g. to the Gardens of Mirabell or the Old which has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers high class service and comfort to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were some of the nicest people and the location was great. It's a little bit far from the attractions of the city, but close enough to the bus station that it doesn't suffer.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Service at the hotel restaurant was a little slow but the food was fantastic.
By some chance, I ended up with a smoking room when I would have preferred a non-smoking room, but it was so well clean that I did not mind.

Directions
You come by train?
"Der Salzburger Hof" is ideally located, removed only 2 minutes from the railway station. You leave the railway station by the main entrance and cross the railway station forecourt / Südtirolerplatz (on the right you might see a shopping centre), follow the Kaiser-Schützen-Strasse. (The street runs directly parallel to the shopping centre) Immediately after the first traffic light you can see our 4 **** hotel.
You arrive by airplane?
Our hotel is away approximately 7 km from the airport of Salzburg. You take coach No. 2 which is bringing you fast and safe (1.50 EUR) directly to our hotel. You get out of the bus at the main station and find us as on top described.
