A quick but nice stay - many thanks. Spacious and clean tatami rooms with lots of spare futons and blankets made for a comfortable night. A pity that breakfast wasn't included in the deal, and the hotel baths were only open from 4pm til midnight, so no chance of a dip in the morning! But good value, polite staff, and just what we were looking for.

About Hotel Sugicho

An inexpensive Japanese-style inn with private rooms located in the heart of Kyoto. Internet PCs in lobby. Surrounded in a quiet environment, it has a good access to both business district and tourist attraction. Offer seasonal Kyoto-style course dinner upon request. Its original sea bream pot is a popular dish. Sit back and relax in a Japanese room and enjoy the traditional cuisine.
