The hotel is in a good position and handy for the centre of Kathmandu.
I have given it a low review because of a couple of factors.
[i] There was no hot water in the shower, no kitchen staff available [gone away] and the mattress felt like it had been filled with bricks.
[ii] i arranged for a bus ticket to Shyebru Besi through the staff and they did this, no problem.
The only problem was that they charged me NR1500 for a NR 300 ticket!
My fault I guess for not knowing the price .
I expect to pay 'touist prices' but I do not expect to get ripped off to the tune of 5 x the price by hotel staff.

A very good place to stay in the Thamel district. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff very helpful. The hotel is located down a quiet alley and has a nice rooftop cafe. They also gave us a free ride from the airport -- I highly recommend this place.

I was thinking they will not show up at the airport, but they did, the welcomimg was very noce, the van was very clean. At the hotel the service was very good and the staff very freindly, the will go out of their way to please you. the rooms were clean. we had 2 rooms, the one I stayed in (305) was great, there windows on both sides and its next to the terrace, very cool and pleasant. I recomend this hotel, its in the heart of thamel, but since its a minute walk from the mail street, it quite, you do not hear the traffic and noises. next to it there is money changing shop, supper market, liqor shop, travel agency and so much. Its realy recomnded.
