Overall a really enjoyable stay. The location is confusing as none of the hotels/hostels advertised as being in Huangshan or named Huang shan are actually there, they are in Huang Shan city (also known as Tunxi) which is about 90 minutes drive from Yellow mountain/ Mount Huangshan. Very easy to reach the mountain however with the help of the hostel.

Our hostel is located in the center of the city, right on the 500-year-old Ancient Street, a great tourist attraction site in Huangshan City. Stepping out of the hostel, you will find yourself in the vehicle-free street where you can find the best souvenirs and local specialties at very reasonable price.
The hostel offers various types of rooms to meet different needs. All the rooms are clean and comfortable, and they are facilitated with modern conveniences. On the second floor, you can enjoy a cup of green tea,coffee, or drink a beer in the cushioned lounge. Relaxing in our comfortable lounge will be your great joy.
Opposite to the hostel are the well-known restaurants - Mei Shi Ren Jia and Lao Jie Di Yi Lou where you can taste the authentic Huizhou dish, reputed as one of the top Eight Cuisines in China. Within its proximity, new restaurants and bars are serving the Korean dish and so on.
We offer FREE pick-up service at Huangshan Bus Station & Train Station from 8:00 am to 23:00 pm. We can meet you in time if you call us by +86-559-2540386 or +86-139 5598 6713 (Mr. Chou) half an hour before your arrival at Huangshan City(TunXi) and tell us your estimated arrival time and your train number.Or you can call us by the local phone after you get to Huangshan City,thus you will have to wait for a few minutes. You are asked to tell us your email address as well as your phone number when you book on the website.It is more convenient and reliable for us to contact you by phone than by email.

Luggage storage after your checking out & going to the mountain, public phones and internet access are also available. The 2nd-floor bar will give you a relaxed time and supply you with delicilous western food.Bus ticket bookings to many other cities and scenic spots are available,and especially the driver will pick you up at our hostel. We can also book the train tickets for you.

Directions
1. From Huangshan Railway Station:
Taxi ride costs 5 yuan to LaoJie DiYilou ;take Bus No.9 (1 yuan) to YuZhong Park Stop,walk 5-8 mins to LaoJie(Old Street) then you can find our hostel 30 meters ahead on your left.
2. From Tunxi Long-distance Bus Station:
Taxi ride costs 7 yuan more or less to LaoJie DiYilou; or take Bus No.9(1 yuan) to YuZhong Park Stop,walk 5-8 mins to LaoJie(Old Street) then you can find our hostel 30 meters ahead.
3. From Huangshan Airport:
6 km, take a taxi at the airport and get off at Laojie Diyilou. Taxi ride costs 18 yuan more or less.
