Very friendly and helpful service.
Rather noisy at night as the area is lively with people, but no traffic.
Our flat was very comfortable.Although it slept 5 this was in 2 double beds & 1 single in 2 rooms, fine for us but may not suit all families/groups.... more

Location-Location-Location
Situated in the heart of Barcelona, literally 2 mins to the Sea and about the same to the Ramblas, this building has a great location. It's the heart of Barcelona, the famed Gothic Quarter, with many squares and sunny terraces to lounge about in.
The street we are located on is in a very trendy area, there are lots of designer clothes shops, cool and funk bars, restaurants and clubs. It's a very vibrant area full of young international people.
The property is a former pension that we've renovated and restyled to create a perfect blend of old and new features: classic turn of the century tile floors blend perfectly with modern comforts of new beds in cosy bedrooms - some of which are en-suite rooms, modern shower units and colourful interiors.
We do our best to cater for couples with our selection of cosy Private Double Bed Rooms; we also have some Twin Rooms and some rooms for 3 friends: Double Bed + a Single Bed. We have rooms with private bathrooms, rooms with private shower and rooms with shared bathrooms :
Double bed room (with either balcony or interior window)
Small Double bed room (lower price smaller room)
Twin/Triple room (Single Bed + Double Bed)
PLEASE NOTE: We like it nice and 'tranquilo' here - no loud groups tolerated, these rooms are perfect for couples...
KEY DEPOSIT required for each room
For independent travellers that want a private bathroom and/or their own space, we also offer a modern, stylish and spacious self-catering apartment consisting of two double beds, living room with balcony and extra sofa-bed ( for 2 or 3 couples), complete with bathroom, kitchen. Perfect for couples or families as guests feel they have their own home away from home in the centre of Barcelona.

Beds were comfortable but the en suite bathroom was accessed through 1 bedroom with no bathroom door, but a shared toilet /shower was also available on the corridor.
Raif made us very welcome & we would stay there again.

From Barcelona Airport (El Prat):
Once you are at the airport and ready to take a taxi, please call us to arrange a check-in time. If you are taking the airport bus into town, then please call once you arrive at the last stop, Plaça Catalunya.
Take the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya from there, change onto the Metro, green line (L3) and go 2 stops to Drassanes. Take the Ramblas Exit.

Walk down the Ramblas towards the sea and take the last street on the left: Carrer Josep Anselm Clave Street.
Walk straight until you reach Carrer D'Avinyó and turn left and there you will see no. 39 on the right-hand side opposite FAM Bag Shop. Ring the doorbell 1-1, we do not have a big sign outside the door.
