The hostel is nearby the bus station and the centre. The staff is very helpful, but the rooms are very noisy and you will wake up if your next door neighbors or above neighbors will wake up. Nevertheless it's a great place if you don't mind the noices or wake up at first.

About Albergue Buenos Aires

Typical style of the south region, with wood and brick native decoration, is located in the city centre. 12 comfortable and cozy rooms welcomes visitors upon arrival.

The reception, the common kitchen, the small living-room with books, dvds and internet, create the ideal environment for complete relaxation, after an all-day excursion.

During summer time, you will enjoy our garden with barbecue, “disco de arado” and everything you need to grill your “asado” or just sit down with your beer.

Next to the glaciers, is only one of the attractions that you must discover.

Nice hostel in general.

At a short walk from the bus station and the steps to the main drag the place is well located. The staff were very helpful as in most places we stayed, the kitchen well equiped and the breakfast included was fine to give you a good start to the day. In our case a day at Perito Moreno glaciar. I think there was one small internet point near reception. Not a lot else to say.
On the downside we had a double room near the reception area/relaxing area only to find that at 2am anyone sat there talking normally sounded like it was amplified. They might as well have been in the room with us having a party ie paper thin walls. When people flushed the toilet in the room next door "i guess" again it sounded like they were in our room.

So overall it's a decent enough place, well located and helpful, but if you need a decent nights sleep after a tough journey, think carefully.
