Situated between the mountains and the sea (within walking distance of both) Abe Bailey is an excellent base from whence to explore the spectacular False Bay coast (known for its excellent surfing beaches and whale watching).

The facility has a number of dorms with a total of 32 beds, plus two more up-market double rooms.

Directions

Take a Metro train from Cape Town on the Simonstown line and disembark at False Bay Station. Walk down Albertyn Road away from the mountain and when reaching the water edge turn first right. Abe Bailey is straight ahead.
By road take the M3 out of Cape Town to Muizenberg. Follow signs to Muizenberg.

As entering Muizenberg on the Main Road turn left down Albertyn Road away from the mountain and when reaching the water edge turn first right. Abe Bailey is straight ahead.
