Quite a hike out of the town center, we hadn't expected this place to be a YHA, and were positively surprised by how good it was. Very friendly service, good rooms, decent (buffet) breakfast.

Quite a hike out of the town center, we hadn't expected this place to be a YHA, and were positively surprised by how good it was. Very friendly service, good rooms, decent (buffet) breakfast. Minor niggles would be the wifi not quite reaching all the way till the rooms at the end of the hallway, and the shower curtain (I hate those things). The lounge is a gorgeous room, though could stand having a few more couches or lazy chairs in it.
I can also recommend the Perito Moreno "self-guided" transport package they sell you; good price, there's quite some explanation about the glacier given by the guy on the minibus (thus making certain there really is no benefit in a full package with tourguide), and you have plenty of time at the boardwalk to explore on your own.

Fantastic Hostel!
Only a 10 - 15 min walk to teh centre of town (really folks, that´s not long at all) and only slightly longer to the bus terminal.
Great rooms, great staff and great facilities.
A really comfiortable stay!
