How to get there
By car
Get along Phetchakasem Road or Barom Ratchachonnanee Road through Nakorn Chaisri, Nakorn Phathom, Ban Pong, Tha Muang to Kanchanaburi. Distance is about 130 kms.
By ordinary bus
At the Southern Bus Terminal, bus leaves every 15 minutes from 04.00 - 20.00 hrs. Bus trip takes a bout 3 hours.
By air-conditioned bus
First-class air-conditioned bus leaves the Southern Bus Terminal every 15 minutes from 05.00 - 22.30 hrs. Whereas the second-class air-conditioned bus leaves the terminal every 20 minutes from 05.10-20.30 hrs. The trip takes about 2 hours. The fare is 79 baht per person.
By train
Two trains leave Bangkok Noi Railway Station at 07.45 hrs. And 13.45 hrs. Respectively. They stop at Kanchanaburi station. For more informationestimate time is about 3 hours from the station.
By van
From the Royal Hotel (Rattanakosin Hotel, Sa-Name-Lhung) Service daily from 8 am - 8 pm. The fare is 80 baht per person. (You may ask the driver to drop you at the hotel)

Daily bus services from bus terminal situated on Saeng Chuto Road to districts and attraction sites are available.
