I totally recommend Embassie. I was to spend a weekend in Liverpool on my own and was a little bit worried about it. But Liverpool totally enchanted me - and definitely because of Embassie and its people.

I totally recommend Embassie. I was to spend a weekend in Liverpool on my own and was a little bit worried about it. But Liverpool totally enchanted me - and definitely because of Embassie and its people. The staff is exteremely friendly and helpful and they spread positive atmosphere around them They have got lots of recommendations as what to see in the city etc. The atmosphere in the hostel is very easy-going and relaxed, the hostel is clean and tidy and it gives you an authentic feel of being at home, even though you are a stranger in the city.
More practically, the rooms are spacious and safe, only there could be more bathrooms or showers could be separated, so that people that want to take a shower won't block those who need just to brush their teeth. But that's the only tip as how to improve the facilities of the hostel. At the same time, I understand it's hard to reconstruct this kind of antique house with a soul

Embassie is a quite nice hostel where you can spend a good time talking with the staff, enjoying of a cup of coffee... It is very friendly place to stay.
The city center is quite near, just 10 minutes walking, and It is located in a nice area .
It is pretty well contected with the airport. We followed the instructions that they show in their own Webpage (bus nº 80 / 86), and We got right there without any difficulty.
The only point that I think that could be improved it is a little bit more of cleaning.
