This is a Trusted Review. Why?
I booked to stay here for three nights and stayed for the rest of the week. It's a good, no frills budget hotel. It's a bit worn and frayed at the edges, but it's clean, quiet and cheap.
They serve reasonable Indian food, although the portions are a bit small. It's muslim owned, so no bar, but they'llsend a porter to the local mini mart for 20 baht extra and bring the meal to your room, if you like. If you're in need of a curry fix there's plenty of competition 10 minutes walk away including one that makes most of the guide books.
One niggling point, is that the night manager had no idea about the booking I made with this website. I'd booked a single room but as they were all taken he put me in a double for the same price. I read another recent review where the same thing happened. Not complaining about the upgrade, but if this had been a busy period, like Songkran, I might not have been so lucky.
Overall, I'd recommend this place if your on a tight budget, for the money I doubt you'll find anything better in Bangers.

Small, basic but clean air conditioned room with it's own bathroom. No seperate cubicle for the shower so toilet and basin get wet when showering but this is typical of budget accomodation like this. No lift so you will have to hump your luggage up several floors.
A few minites walk to the river and the bottom end of Silom Road. Staff are courteous and helpful and quite good Indian meals can be purchased on site till midnight.
If you are on a tight budget you probably won't do better. I'd be happy to stay there again.
