My husband and I booked this great value hostel in advance of arriving in Jordan and couldn't be happier with the value. We had a shared dorm room which was a good size, with an ensuite. We had no idea what to do in Jordan before we arrived, but Mohammed the manager gave us good advice about tours and independent travelling to Petra, and was able to arrange a small group tour (four people) to Mt Nebo and the Dead Sea for a good price.
This was a good place to meet other backpacker travellers. It is open until late, so when we came back to Amman from Petra we were able to arrive late (11pm) without a booking and was still be greeted with a smile, hot tea and warm bed (and hot shower!!).
We had read a couple of negative reviews about this hostel, however there definitely were no crazy people here and the people were very helpful.

PS.... the taxi from the airport is is standard price of JD20 - Bdeiwi offers a pickup for the same price. We totally recommend taking them up on their offer. We didn't and regretted it.

I stayed there just for one night when coming with late flight to Amman. Room was ok, clean but i think there was no fan on the ceiling so it was hot during summer. I used dormitory and had to use common bathroom which was just functioning. Expect very basic but it's cheap. I don't know if there is really internet, breakfast included but i got toilet paper when i arrived and man was kind and willing to help. Close to this place found cheap place to eat. I have to say I slept for 6 JD in better place where i had fan and own bathroom (Cairo Hotel).

Friendly staff. They let me prepare my own breakfast when I had to depart very early. Gave me a space heater and extra blankets. Great 24 hour HOT showers. Quiet. Excellent location.
