Great place!
Someone was waiting for me at the airport holding a sign with my full name and took me to the hostel.
The place was warm, clean and Raju, the owner, was very helpfull and friendly.

I travelled all around India and this was probably the nicest places I stayed at in the sense of hospitality. The rooms are basic but clean and the hot shower works. There is a free computer to use and TV to watch that has about 100 channels. The free pick up and drop off to the airport was great.
Raj who owns it is so nice and even invited us to an Indian wedding. He makes sure you know how to get around and gives suggestions on the best places to visit. You can have toast and eggs for breakfast which was very convenient as there isn't many food places around. The Inn is about 10 min in a rickshaw from the train station and then about 20 minutes on a train into the cbd. If you take a riskshaw to and from the taxi it should only cost around 100-300rps. They try and rip you off massively so I recommend organising a set price before you get in and don't pay anything more then 500rps. I had friends paying 2000rps for a 5-10min ride. Highly recommend it. Also if you want to be in a bollywood movie just ask Raj and he can organise it.

I've stayed at anjali inn from 29.1.2011 till 2.2.2011 (5 days 4 nite). For the price of IDR 2000 per nite it was worth it. The room was small but very clean & tidy. No roach, flies etc... It's like you stayed in a friends house or something like that. The best was the staff, they really helped you with everything .. u named it. I really appreciate the hospitality that they gave to us. U can order food from them & served in the room, the food was delicious. Overall experience it was marvellous. This hotel is near to the airport but far from the town area. Anyway u can use a taxi or tuk tuk if u want to go there. The best of the best .... they pick & sent u back to the airport for FREE!

Our first site of the Anjali Inn in which we stayed made us think we should have booked somewhere else. However, when we looked at the room we changed our minds. It was clean, cool and quiet. The service was excellent, including the benefit of free pick up from and transport to the airport. It was very good value for money and we are happy to recommend Anjali Inn to other travellers.

Do not stay anywhere else in Mumbai! Raj (the owner) and his family was extremely hospitable in their large apartment-turned very cozy hostel. He cooked our meals and offered to pick us up and drop us off at the airport for FREE. This place is also the only legitimate hostel in Mumbai (as far as a I know). You will definitely meet fellow travelers whether you're staying in the dorm room or, if staying private, happen to meet them casually in the common area. The money for value is peerless (800 rupees per dorm bed). The hostel gets 4/5 stars for location only cause you need to take a 5 min rickshaw to the train station, but that's really negligible. The neighborhood is very quiet and there's a market nearby. Again, don't even think of booking anywhere else, unless you're looking for a high class hotel (but why do that when you get so much more immersion here?)

A good mid-range accomodation to Indian standard. The service is fantastic, very friendly staff. Airport pick-up/ drop-off service is perfect. The food was nice. Cleanliness of familyroom was very good. Kitchen and shared area could use some attention. But Overall we were quite satisfied with Anjali Inn. We'll certainly stay again at our future trips to Mumbai.

My stay was perfect for an overnight in Mumbai- The airport pick-up & drop off was a lifesaver. And the service deserves 6 stars- especially for the young man who delivers room service with the biggest smile in India. The food served was delicious.

Anajali Inn has a free pick up and drop service that is very useful when is the first time you come to India.
The building doesn't look like a hotel. You get the stairs and you'll find the front and a narrow corridor to the rooms. I got a twin bed room that was clean with a/c and hot shower but no windows.
The staff is always kind and helpful. They helped us to book a bus to Goa and dropped us at the bus stop.
Regarding the location its good if you want to stay near the airport. If you want to go to Central Mumbai you have to take a rickshaw until Andheri sta. and get the train. if you get the local train (slow train) its going to take more the one hour.
Overall I am satisfied with the hotel. Good Cost vs Benefit.
