Luxor has often been called the world’s greatest open air museum, as indeed it is and much more. The number and preservation of the monuments in the Luxor area are unparalleled anywhere else in the world that knows of. Actually, what most people think of as Luxor is really three different areas, consisting of the City of Luxor on the East side of the Nile, the town of Karnak just north of Luxor and Thebes, which the ancient Egyptians called Waset, which is on the west side of the Nile across from Luxor. We offer our guests free Services to get your train and bus ticket from Luxor to anywhere in Egypt.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?
When we arrived at the hotel, nobody spoke English at the counter and nobody knew anything about our travellerspoint reservation. After I mentioned the name of the man, who sent me an e-mail, they got upset and phoned him (Mr. Malak). He arrived ath the hotel after a short while and wanted to get the whole price (For 4 Days) in advance! After arguing with him, we paid for 2 Days, which was a big mistake, because the rooms were absolutely untidy - for example with curtains, which were'nt washed since 30 years or so. The bathrooms were very dirty too! We could also watch some insects and the facilities didn't work correctly in some bathrooms. After we put our lugage in our rooms by ourselves, the man at the counter followed us and wanted a tip! For what? After one terrible night we decided, to leave rapidly, because the hotel is totally run down.
Nobody of us could understand, how the Hotel Arabesk got such good ratings at travellerspoint!
