the place was great, big and clean once we arrived. The shower/bathroom did tend to get a wet floor that didnt dry but other than this it was awesome. A great location and ideal for what we needed, although the bathroom door was clear/frosted so we were slightly more intimate than I had expected.

RSSHad an unfortunately bad experience here. We rented the smallest room (2 person shared) and the bathroom was in horrid condition. We stayed one night because of our timing, but we ended up leaving and finding a new place.
I can't speak for the other rooms - they may be very nice.
To the owner's credit, the place was unlocked and the room was clean for our arrival (nobody to meet us, as they don't live on site)
The owner also worked with us to resolve issues surrounding the bill/reservation after we decided we could no longer stay.

We had to wait in front of the apartment for about 20 minutes for someone to come and let us in. The owner did not speak English and did not ask us for passports or anything. Just took the money and gave us the key and left. Very central. Owners live somewhere else and they let us use the whole apartment . There was a problem with the hot water system and I had to take freezing cold showers for 2 days, water started to run hot and then turned cold after 5 minutes. The waste baskets had not been emptied and closets and cupboards were stuffed with dirty sheets and towels. It was obviously used before us and not cleaned. We even found a pack of condoms in a drawer and started to wonder ...!
