Would stay here again. Location very very good although difficult to find, at the back of buildings, not on the main street of the address and from the outside a bit off putting. Stairs up to the hostal a bit smelly too, but once inside very good.
Young femail managers could not have been nicer or more helpful with excellent English something rare in Ukraine.
Dorm bunk beds looked good.

WE ARE LOCATED IN the historical center, near Kontractova metro station - 5 MIN away from KRESCHATIK STR. (THE MAIN STREET.) 2 MIN FROM Andriivskiy spusk( the place which every foreigner has to visit).

We are right in the heart of the city! Everything within walking distance.

Only 1 min walk to the METRO station and 15 mins walk to the Independence Square and main street Khreschatik. Kiev-Art hostel is too comfortable to be a hostel. We are the new, best located hostel in Kiev.

It has 4 rooms, kitchen, bathroom and extra toilet, air conditioning, personal lockers, safe, hooka bar, DVD, cable TV, free wireless all over the hostel.

There are also free maps, tourist info and guides, mini bar plus free coffee and tea all day.

Cafe,restaurant, Ukrainian buffet, bar, postal service, ATM Bank, beauty salon and barber's salon, 24/7 markets are located right behind the corner or few minutes walk.

We can arrange you taxi to the airport upon request (15 EUR)

Bank and ATM is 10 seconds walk from entrance.

Cafe with english menus on the ground floor.

Underground bar with English speaking staff and menus 3 mins walk away.

Dorm bunk beds looked good.
We had the room which claimed to be 2 beds but was actually only really one bed, sort of double sofa bed , which was OK. We had to go through one of the dorm rooms to get to the bathroom, again it was not a real problem.
Only one bathroom with toilet and one other toilet.
Good well fitted kitchen with free coffee etc.
Free internet use.
Overall very good.

From the Train Station:
- take metro - Vokzalna - go to Kreschatik (3 stations) - transfer to Maidan Nezalezhnosti and go to Kontraktova plosha station (2 stations). Get on the first car, go out of the subway door. Then turn right and walk to the farthest exit on the left. You will go out on Konstantinovska street. Walk to the crossroad of Yaroslavska and Konstantinivska streets and turn around the corner. We are here. Look at the map. Total time - 25 minutes

b) From Boryspil international airport:
- take 'Atass' bus (2 EUR) to Circus (Plosha Peremogy) (1 hour). Then take tram No. 18 until the stop Zhitnyi rynok (25 minutes). Then follow the map. Total time - 1 hour 45 minutes

or - Book transfer with us (EUR 25). Total time to the hostel - 45 minutes.

c) From the central bus station. - Walk to Lybidska metro station (about 10 minutes). Then take direct line to Kontraktova ploshcha station (6 stations). Sit in the first car, go out of the subway door. Then turn left and walk to the farthest exit on the left. You will go out on Konstantinovska street. Yaroslavska is around the corner. Look at the map below. Travel time - 40 minutes.

The Best way to reach us is to use metro. Please use the first tram to exit, and all the way back to the end of the underground. Metro is the best way to reach almost every point you need.
