About AmicitiA
Welcome the AmicitiA, the hostel on a motor barge.The AmicitiA hostel is a popular hostel in the Netherlands and well known amongst hostel backpackers and is definitely a place to go and make friends. We are close to the Nemo and Scheepvaart Museum, red light and city centre only 10 minutes walk from the central railway station.
Experience the atmosphere on board the hostel AmicitiA. The former inland freight clipper has been refurbished to modern standard and can accommodate 36 people.
The spacious sundeck is ideal for lazing around and enjoying the view. The cabins are fitted with comfortable bunk beds, central heating and a wash basin.
The are also sufficient communal washing facilities on board.
There is a fully equipped bar on board, but sorry no smoking. Dutch breakfast is included.
FREE INTERNET and WIFI & bike rental is close by. No curfew

Sunday-Thursday from: 2pm till10pm
Friday-Saturday from: 2pm till 11pm
The crew are always pleased to welcome you aboard.

Where to find us:
Leave the central railway station by the front exit and turn left onto the main road. It is called the Prins Hendrickkade. Along this road---a walk of 12 minutes----keeping the water on your left side until you see a green building----Nemo museum---walk to the nemo and walk to dock 5. Any problems please phone us.
From Amsterdam station it will take roughly about 7 minutes walking, turn left when you come out of the station and head towards the nemo museum and we are a few yards from there.

just got back from my time in amsterdam, we could not have asked for a better place to have stayed, Roy was ace knew everything that needs knowing about his city and the beer was the cheapest in the whole place thankyou for making our trip so brilliant.

This place was great.
It is tiny, but that was expected. Roy knew the sites that we wanted to see and gave us good directions and advice.
The breakfast was a knock up spread, small but good. The location is prefect. The sound of the water lapping against the hull of the boat is very relaxing

The cabins were a little bit hot during night time given the hot weather...but otherwise it was nice, clean and had a very friendly staff with a great breakfast buffet...I would go back again...
