About Central Park Apartment New York
We have 2 beautifully renovated, immaculately clean private 1 bedroom apartments located 225 meters (700 feet) from the subway. We are 10 minutes from Times Square only 4 stops, We are 9 blocks from Central Park about 4/10's of a mile, about 2/3rd of a kilometer. We are also 3 blocks from New York City's only waterfall and turtle/duck pond.
Both newly renovated 1 bedroom private apartments sleep 4 guests comfortably on real beds, with room for a 5th and some people have had a 6th. Everything you need is here and it is 10 minutes (4 stops) to Times Square on the 2 or 3 subway which runs 24 hour.
Amenities include internet, DVD/TV, kitchen, a supermarket 2 blocks away, a US Post office 3 blocks away. There is an organic food market and wine shop 3 blocks away and across the street from that and a Starbucks as well. We are less than 2 miles for 10 different museums along Central Park east and west from the Guggenheim to the Metropolitan to the Museum of Natural History.
The diner from the Jerry Seinfeld show is less than 1 mile away and Jerry Seinfeld and Madonna live 1.5 miles south of us on Central Park West.
We provide coffee and tea. A large supermarket and an organic food market are both 2 blocks so you will save money by cooking at the apartment.
The way we offer such low rates is because we have a low vacancy rate and low no show rate due to our supplementary payment policy.
We accept reservations up to 28, but only 7 days can be reserved online without making an additional payment directly to us, in order to confirm your booking.
How our reservation payment policy works is as follows.
All the nights from 8-28 of your reservation for 1 apartment are payable in order to confirm a reservation. If your arrival date starts 28 days or more from your booking date that payment is due in 7 nights.
If your arrival is fewer than 28 days from your booking date, 48 hours is the payment deadline to confirm a booking. If you contact us we can modify these terms to suit your reasonable needs.
Payment can be made by your credit card on file with HostelWorld, an alternate debit /credit card or by Paypal.
If you are renting more than 1 apartment and you are arriving more than 28 days from the start of your reservation then all nights of the second apartment must be paid 7 days of your reservation in order to confirm your reservation. .** Example: A group of 8 guests booking 2 apartments for 8 nights will need to make a 9 night payment to confirm to your reservation, which is equal to all the nights of the second apartment reservation plus the extra 1 night of the first apartment.
Payments by paypal require a minimum of 1 night prepayment to confirm a reservation are are also subject to t e conditions above.

Conditions
Up to a 7 night reservation for an individual apartment can be made and confirmed on HostelWorld just by booking and making a standard10% deposit. Due to our low prices we require a supplementary payment for reservation from 8-28 nights or for group reservations which reserve more than one apartment.
This payment is made directly to us.
Just book whatever dates you need on the HostelWorld site and then contact us and let us know if you prefer that we use the credit card which is on file with HostelWorld from your initial reservation to collect the supplementary payment or if you would like to submit an alternate debit/credit card for payments or if you would like us to send you a Paypal request for payment.
We always confirm the first 7 nights a courtesy of an individual apartment reservation when you book on HostelWorld.
The amount due needs to be paid within 7 nights when your arrival is more than 28 days after you booking date.
If your reservation is less than 28 days away you will need to make the advance payment with 48 hours.

Failure to pay the balances due as specified or not contacting us to make reasonable alternative arrangements will cause your reservation made on HostelWorld to be cancelled.
We are a low margin property and keep our rates low by having a low vacancy and a low no show rate.
Regular check in at 3PM until 9PM
Regular check outt 11AM.
Early check in/late check out when available is $20 due at check in.
Check in after 9PM is $20 additonal charge payable in advance.
Check ins after 6PM are required to pay 50% of the balance due in advance.
The is a private apartment and later check ins will be able get keys after our housekeepers leave for the day but the location where you collect the keys can not accept payment.
Any balance due is payable in cash at check in.
There is a 1 time $25 cleaning charge since this is a private apartment.

Directions
We are 700 feet north and east of the B and C subway 116th Street station.
We are 700 feet north and west of the 2 and 3 subway 116th Street station.
From JFK $7 or $5 if you buy an unlimited weekly . Take the Airtrain to Jamaica from any JFK airport terminal. At Jamaica connect to the 'E' train to Manhattan to 42nd Street. When you get to 42nd St. in Manhattan you will be on the "downtown" side of the "E" train. You need to switch to the 'uptown C' train just up across the station. Take the uptown "C" train to 116th St. At the 116th Street subway station exit and walk to Adam Clayton Powell Blvd(7th Ave) walk 3 blocks north to 119th Street. We are the second building on the north side of the street.
From LaGuardia (30) minutes)take the M60 bus from your terminal($2 in us coins only bills not accepted) transfer at Lenox Ave(6th Ave)to the downtown bus and exit the bus at 119th St. We are 300 feet west.
Newark Airport take the Supershuttle directly to us or the airport express bus to the Port Authority and follow those directions.
Port Authority, Penn Station, Midtown Bolt Bus go to the Uptown C train on 8th Ave with entrances at 34 and 42nd St. Exit at the 116th Street station. Then follow the JFK directions from the Uptown C 116th Street Station.
Chinatown buses. Go to Grand Street and Christie Street a few blocks away and take the uptown B or D Express train. If you take the B stay on it until 116th St. If you take the D express train, then switch at 59th Street just across the platform to either the uptown B or C and then exit at 116th St. Then follow the JFK directions from the Uptown C 116th Street Station.
