No sink (???) was the wierdest part. Also the fridge didn't work. And the room wasnt at all soundproof.

But aside from that (the shower had a tap so it was fine, just a bit wierd) the accommodation was very nice. comfortable bed, clean room, dated decor (which I kinda liked), and best of all: the location! For such a good price and such a good location with your own ensuite it can't really go wrong.

But a warning: be prepared to wait outside upon arrival.

You will find our family owned and operated Hotel Novalis in the heart of Berlin on a quiet side street just 1 minutes walk from Friedrichstrasse, one of Berlin's most important streets, and the pleasant Oranienburgerstrasse district. We are located relatively close to the Friedrichstadt Palace, the Museum Island, the Reichstag (German

Parliament), and many more sites of historical or cultural interest.

Our hotel has been serving both local and foreign guests for more than 50 years. It offers 9 modern and comfortably furnished rooms, each with

their own individual feeling. In 2001, the hotel was completely renovated and restored. All our rooms contain a shower and toilet (ensuite), TV, and a minibar for your convenience. An extra bed for

children or a third person can be possibly arranged for many of our rooms.

We hope you will enjoy experiencing the vibrant and classical atmosphere

of Berlin, while staying at our hotel. Please seek out our welcoming

staff if you need help planning your stay and your excursions here in

Berlin. We are always here to assist you and wish you a very happy and

relaxing stay.

But aside from that (the shower had a tap so it was fine, just a bit wierd) the accommodation was very nice. comfortable bed, clean room, dated decor (which I kinda liked), and best of all: the location! For such a good price and such a good location with your own ensuite it can't really go wrong.

But a warning: be prepared to wait outside upon arrival. The owner rarely attends to her desk - you have to call the numbers on the plaque outside.
