Maria La Scala, part of Acireale, you'll find us: "CAMPING VILLAGE LA TIMPA" found in the most evocative and panoramic part of the Jonio coast.The Campsite is situated in an area of natural beauty in the "LA TIMPA Natural Reserve" and is dipped in a splendid garden of lemons and typical flowers of the Mediterranean.Overlooking the Gulf of Catania, one of the most spectacular coastlines of Sicily, the sea can be reached by an elevator dug into the lava cliff.Thanks to its position, it is possible to organize excursions to different places such as Acireale and its beautiful churches, the wonderful Mount Etna, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse.It is equipped with a mini-market, restaurant-pizzeria, snack-bar, car park, bowling green, and free hot showers.Our campsite is provided with shady areas with power supply (ECC) and free hot showers .The village offers bungalows, all of them have a charming sea view and air-conditioning, patio with table and chairs, Satellite TV and a private bathroom. Bungalows can be with or without kitchen. In bungalows prices include private bathroom with hot water and gas. Car parking is not included as well as electric power (€ 0.40/Kwh), bed linen or bath towels (available on request at extra cost.)In low and middle season we usually accept reservations for minimum 2 nights stay. In High and Peak season we usually accept reservation for minimum 7 days, usually from Saturday to Satuday. Rooms can be released from 4:00 pm and should be vacated by 10:30.You'll find kindness and hospitality with us, what is more, our restaurant which is well known for its excellent cuisine and the interesting cultural and archaeological tours make our Campsite the ideal place to spend your holidays!
