Reception Hours:
May 1st - Sep 30th: 8-30am - 1-30pm - 3-30pm - 7pm
Oct 1st - April 30th: 8-30am - 1-30pm - 3-30pm - 8pm.
Late check-ins will find instructions on the office door.
If you are coming by Intercity Bus you must e-mail us at least 24hours in advance at: info@tenikauretreat.co.nz or call us on 03-7311111. We will then pick you up from the DOC Visitors Centre at 12-30pm (services going south) or 3pm(sevices going North) Please be waiting outside. All other bus services will drop you at the top of our driveway, just ask your driver it is then a short walk down to the hostel.
There are no supermarkets, garages or ATM machines in Punakaiki but the Punakaiki Tavern serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
