About Karlstad Hostel

At Karlstad Hostel you will stay comfortably accommodated within walking distance of the city centre. The standards of our facilities are high and guests often say it feels like a hotel rather than a hostel. - A great compliment that we are proud to live up to!

The whole building was renovated in 2007 and have now got 40 rooms, with everything from single rooms to dormitories to suit any request. Choose what you like according to your preferences! There is also a breakfast room, guest kitchen and a common room with TV. Shower and toilet facilities are provided in the corridor on all of our 4 floors.

The big river Klarälven flows through our beautiful town and right in the centre you will find a great place to lie in the sun and swim on warm summer days. Shopping, swimming and/or relaxation, it’s up to you!

Karlstad Hostel is easy to find, easy to park by, easy to like! We look forward to be receiving your reservation :)

Hello and thank you for your reservation!
Our reception is open for check in between 4pm – 7.00pm. If you wish to arrive earlier or later than this you may call the reception on your arrival day on opening hours (8-10am and 4-7.00 pm) to get codes to our entrance door and key box.
