Our air conditioner didn't work and it made the room very hot and humid. The air conditioner in our childrens room did work however. The meals at the onsite resturant were very expensive. We had enquired by phone for the date we were to be there only to be told that they were completely booked up. Ten minutes later when we booked for the same date through Travellerspoint we booked the rooms we needed no problem. As it turned out the motel was more than half empty when we stayed.

The Bearded Dragon is a gem of good old fashioned Australian hospitality, set on 110 acres of farm and bush land, 18 airconditioned rooms (most queen doubles with spa bath!), all day casual cafe dining,a la carte restaurant, alpaca and animal farm, situated at the base of Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland and Rainforest region of South East Queensland.
We are just a scenic 40-50 minute drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.We recommend you find us sometime soon, for a warm welcome and an everlasting impression of our unique Australian charm.
Live Crocodile and Reptile Shows FREE on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday at 2pm ish and extra show at 11am on Sundays! New internet cafe, breakfast served daily from 8am. Live Bands every sunday in the beergarden with views to Tamborine Mountain. FREE.

We had enquired by phone for the date we were to be there only to be told that they were completely booked up. Ten minutes later when we booked for the same date through Travellerspoint we booked the rooms we needed no problem. As it turned out the motel was more than half empty when we stayed. Although they had a large sized reception area there was no receptionist on duty and check in and out as well as any requested had to be made to the barman at the bar in the pub. Overall we were satisfied with our short stay although things could definitly be improved.

Conditions
It is your responsibility to get here. It is well worth it but sorry there is no bus or train nearby. We are 50 mins approximately driving from Brisbane or Gold Coast.
We are at the base of Tamborine Mountain. Sorry no refunds if you can't make it and havent given at least 48hours notice.
Recommend bringing your own transport ie car, 4wd, van or pushbike.
