Budget Accommodation Europe France Paris Hostels Vintage Hostel
We had a 3 bed private room and it was very very small, but the room was clean and we didnt really spend much time in it, so it wasn't a great problem for us.
We did, however, have a BIG problem. In the night, although our door was shut, somebody managed to come in.

We had a 3 bed private room and it was very very small, but the room was clean and we didnt really spend much time in it, so it wasn't a great problem for us.
We did, however, have a BIG problem. In the night, although our door was shut, somebody managed to come in. They didn't take anything, but it was still very scary! We told reception and they said that 3 keys had been issued, but we only had one! So they reissued us a new key so that they others would be invalid. They were very helpful and we made sure we double locked the door for the remaining nights.
Its in a great spot - very close to the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur, and the metro links are really good!
The breakfast was pretty good, although try to get there early, because food can run out!
The rooms were small but did the job.
The location was close to the red light district and hence brilliant pubs/clubs and all the caberet shows.
The free breakfast was pretty good.
Was a bit pricey and the bathrooms not the cleanest.
The staff were pretty surley and seemed very disinterested at offering up any helpful info on the area and things to do, but they weren't rude.
We would maby stay here again, I am pretty neutral on this one, it's fine for a couple of nights..

When we arrived they could not find our booking even though i had a copy of a computer generated email confirming our booking. after much discussion they found a twin room for 1 night then a double room for the remainder of our booking. the double room was a lot smaller than the twin room . It was comfortable and clean. the hostel dinning area is very small for the number of guests staying there.
the hostel is very well located and we would stay again if we were back in the area
The hostel itself is placed very close to Gare du Nord and Montmartre and it's a good base for exploring Paris. We had beds in a shared room, which was ok. The only downside was the bathroom which had a mouldy roof and no soap. Also you had to pay for towels and even though they claim to have Free WiFi Access, you had to pay to get internet even through wifi.

A wonderful place to stay. Staff laid back, approachable and very helpful indeed. After our Lon -> Paris ride, I and a friend were allowed to leave our bikes somewhere safe, and we could leave luggage in a secure area during one of the days. Atmosphere friendly, relaxed and respectful of others. Location fantastic for Eurostar travellers. Room small but very thoughtfully decorated and arranged. Great little balcony high up on 5th floor. Good local eateries. Given its market and price, I cannot speak more highly of this place and hope to return some time. Thank you.

Nice place to stay in Paris, near the metro. Friendly, clean and raesonable breakfast
The place is really great. It´s clean, well located and staff is helpful. Just be carefull because Paris´streets are confusing, house numbers don´t really have a sequence. And don´t be late for breakfast, or you may have no bread to eat.

The reception was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was minimized but still good and the rooms were clean except for the bathrooms.

Great place - the beds were clean, made every day and fresh linen provided - most importantly it was tidy and roomy - there was a balcony and great views with only 10 mins walking from the Gare du Nord.
The Gare du Nord is quite dodgy looking but you get used to it quickly - it's not any reason to avoid staying.
Edit: I must mention that we asked for the double bed private en-suite as we were travelling as a couple.
The only 2 negative points i have are that the internet is VERY expensive - it's 5euro for an hour which in my opinion is just an utter rip off - look straight across the road and there is an internet cafe offering an hour of internet at a faster and better rate with better equipped computers for 2 euro an hour.
The other thing is a very small point - the shower curtains are too short and the water splashes the bathroom - it does get cleaned up every day (not an excuse to let someone clean up after you) but it wouldn't happen at all if the curtains were a little longer.
Overall i would recommend it to anyone and would gladly come back.
