From The Train Station

Take bus 603, and get off at Inside South-Gate stop, keep walking 20 meters west (to the right ) on the alley just inside the city wall .you will find us easily

Take bus 608 ( 100 meters right to the train station exit ) and get off at ouside South-Gate stop,

walking back for about 50 meters pass throught the south gate and turn left.

We offer a free pick up service in the morning at train station, please do let us know your arrival info in advance.

From The Airport

Take shuttle bus at airport and get off at Bell Tower stop in Xi'an, then transfer bus 603 on South Street and get off at inside south gate stop.

We have airport pick-up service, please inform us if you need by sending us e-mail or calling us.It cost 150RMB(less than 4 people)

We are proud of being the original hostel in Xi'an, which is often imitated but never duplicated. The location is definitely the best in Xi'an, as it's so central and easy to find everything, You truly are in the heart of Xi'an culture.

Our hostel is a perfectly preserved traditional Chinese courtyard house. It is original and not a recently rebuilt imitation building. With several outdoor and indoor seating areas in a very relaxing atmosphere

All of our staff speak English and will do their best to make your stay in Xi'an as comfortable and accommodating as possible. In that same spirit we also offer a full host of tours and guides to Xi'an's most famous sites. If it's off the beaten track you are looking for than we can help you there too, many of our staff are travelers themselves and know what it is travelers are looking for when they come to a new place!

We are also only a few minutes' walk from the flourishing shopping district and the Muslim Quarter. Walking up and down the main road you will find everything thing from high class dining to local restaurants enough to provide all tastes and budgets. Behind our hostel, is Defu Lane which has over 30 cafes, bars and tea houses.

Here at Shuyuan we try our best to make your experience in Xi'an and with as memorable as possible. From the free welcome coffee or tea from a real barista, to a free nightly beer we take every opportunity to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Every Friday night we hold a free dumpling making party, a perfect opportunity to get to know new friend and Xi'an's culinary traditions! We also have a Wednesday night BBQ dinner. Mixed With Western and Chinese style, it's a candle lit affair with music and plenty of fun. And as always FREE 24 hour internet.

We also have one of Xi'an's most popular bars in-house. Park Qin bar is a place where locals and travelers mix, laugh, and enjoy the evenings. Newly renovated it has been featured in the local ex-pat magazine and has gained recognition as one of Xi'an's premier bars.
