We nearly didnt stay here due to a poor review which must have been written by someone with a grugde. The riad is a little difficult to find but is terrifically situated near the top of the medina.
Le Riad is close to one of the main entrances to the medina of Fez, where it plunges into a maze of winding streets.

We nearly didnt stay here due to a poor review which must have been written by someone with a grugde. The riad is a little difficult to find but is terrifically situated near the top of the medina.Once inside the decor is truly beautiful with carved stone everywhere, beautiful mosaics and lovely carved doors etc.The room we stayed in was huge with two 3/4 beds together. The bathroom was bigger than most of the apartments we have stayed in.Everything was spotless and a pleasure to stay in.Breakfast was adequate with lovely coffee and croissants. All this for £35.00 a night.Fez in all was better than Marrakesh and a day out by train to rabat is well worth the effort. No I am not related to the owner nor the terrific guy who acts as concierge.Andy Sheffield England
The owner was rude and the bedroom really small but otherwise it was great. Minutes from the souks, great roof terrace and filling breakfast. It's also a beautiful building to stay in.
The owner is a Pirate. This guy send us to sleep the frist night into other acomodation cheeper that his hotel. We are Very disapointed whit this guy. We had to spend the frist night in a hole because the riad was full. He overbook his riad keep customers who pay a higher rate and send the others into his other shity riad.
This is a Trusted Review. Why?
The Ryad is conveniently located in the medina beside more famous ryad like "Maison bleu" or "Mabrouka". You can easily get there from outside wall throgh a square used as car parking. We had 2 rooms: a privee room in ryad style and a standard room. Our advise is to stay in the ryad Al-Pacha only if you can book a privee room because standard room are very poor. Only in this case you get value for your money. The atmosphere in the ryad is fine but facilities could be improved.
