Xiamen Travellers' Home, a perfect place to enjoy Amoy Gongfu Tea and talking about Amoy's stories, while overlooking Taiwan's Quemoy Island across the sea and watching sunrise and sunset.
The guesthouse is a 3-floor villa, it hides behind the street, but very conveniently and quietly in a orginal local fishing village ---ZengCuo'an , (a kind of old style Amoy house) full of Amoy local taste.
Old style Chinese beds, tables,cabinets with rich interior decorations just only by hand. It is so fantastic guesthouse, as well as super clean western style bathroom, brand new bedding and facilities individually controlled air-conditioning.
It is a special guesthouse just only 5 rooms in Xiamen, not less than 10 beds, and 2 extra beds. What is so mini! But, there are 3 sitting-rooms used for guest, most spacious guest rooms, congruously bathrooms with sea view, guest kitchen , and a beautiful garden with a little fishing boat, Gongfu Tea, reading , or just staying nothing to do in the sun. Be carefree body and mind ! The life is really like this.

Located at idyllic Zengcuo'an Scenic Spot around Island Ring Road, adjacent to Xiamen University and Hulishan Fortress, leaning against the famous Wulaofeng mountain and facing Taiwan's Quemoy Island .
20 minutes' ride to the Gaoqi International Airport, 10 minutes' to the Railway Station and 10 minutes' to the Ferry,where you can go to Koron Island by boat.10 minutes' to supermarket. it's very convenient to go around Xiamen city.
All staffs in our guesthouse are looking forward to providing the whole-hearted service for you. You could never get the same feeling and travelling experience from other places.

Xiamen Traveller's Home is very clean and comfortable. It is well located, with a quiet beach just across the road, and right next to a good seafood restaurant and also a western food restaurant with excellent Mexican food.
Unfortunately, the owner of the guesthouse was away while we were there, so there was no hospitality and only a rather rude ayi who shouted everything she said to us.
Ideal for a family, though. We had two rooms which were connected by our own private living area with TV and wifi, so it was like having our own little appartment.
Overall, I would recommend it, although I think it is a little over-priced.
