The American Adventure Hostel is 26 miles from the Yosemite National Park entrance and is located on Highway 120 in the historic community of Groveland. The hostel is in walking distance to ATMs, markets, post office, coffee shops, restaurants and the famous Iron Door Saloon.

Alcohol is permitted but in moderation. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund for use or distribution of illegal drugs during your stay with us.

We ask that you are quiet in the individual rooms after 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM in the common areas, out of respect for our neighbors and other guests.

Check-In is after 4:00 PM. Please plan your arrival time accordingly. Checkout is 10:00 AM. Please plan your daily activities accordingly.
