Arriving from Geneva Airport, the Chamonix Shuttle for 25 euros (drops you off in front of the hotel). You will see the sign for our Tex Mex restaurant and arriving there you will see our hotel sign El Paso. Then the fun begins!
Driving by car into Chamonix:
If you are driving into Chamonix, as you enter the city you will enter it from Route Blanche (N506), which after roundabout, it turns in to Avenue Cachat, keep following that main street around, through roundabouts, and it will eventually turn into Alle Recteur. Follow until you reach Rue Joseph Vallot where you turn right and then 2nd right into Impasse des Rhododendrons where you find us at number 37 and under the large Cactus sign with La Cantina and you're at AWA Chamonix Hotel El Paso.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When our room was not ready at the check-in time, they allowed us to store our belongings in a separate room so me and my two friends could start heading to the slopes. As for sleep, you should only stay here if you plan to party downstairs at the bar/club cause otherwise no sleep will be obtained. The location of the place is phenomenal, right in the city center. The beds were also very comfortable for what I've been used to. All in all, I would stay here again as long as I was there to go out and party!!

Hideous place. My shower didn't work, the curtains were too small for the room, it was extremely noisy and the door to my room didn't close! A complete rip off! The review of the actual building can't even be tempered by there being helpful staff- the woman at the reception was extremely unfriendly. My advice would be to stay away!

Enjoyed our stay, amazing value for money. Clean, basic warm and plenty of hot water. What more do you want?
My only consern is that there is a noisy bar in the basment and if you were a light sleeper it WILL keep you up..... I am pleased to say I'm not and it didn't!
